Málaga
In Málaga I mostly work on flats – in the centre, Huelin, El Palo, Teatinos and the suburbs. It's about 50–60 minutes from Marbella along the Costa del Sol, so we usually book the visit for a specific day. For larger renovations I come with a team.

Málaga is a big city, and most jobs here are in flats. In the centre and the older districts these are mid-20th-century buildings with old wiring, shared risers and small lifts. In Teatinos and the newer districts the flats are modern, so there's usually less repair work but more furniture assembly and setting up.
Full flat and bathroom renovations, rewiring and new fuse boards, and plumbing. For holiday let apartments: cleaning between guests and quick small repairs. Also removals – into and out of the city, and along the coast.
In apartment blocks I do noisy work during the hours the community allows and let the neighbours know in advance. Parking and access are difficult in the centre, so I plan material deliveries and rubbish removal ahead of time. Before a renovation, I'll tell you when you need to notify the community or the ayuntamiento (town hall).

Our work
We knocked the kitchen and living room into one, moved the plumbing and wiring, and added an island, spotlights and underfloor heating.
The owners were swapping a villa for an apartment in the city. We packed the paintings and glassware separately, took some of the furniture into storage and placed the rest according to the new apartment's floor plan.
After the renovation there was building dust and grout haze everywhere. We cleaned the floors, tiles, windows, frames and kitchen and took away the last of the rubbish. The owners moved in the next day.

Yes. I do smaller jobs myself, and for larger renovations I bring together a team of trusted tradespeople. I'm responsible for the result and the timescale, and the price is agreed before work starts.

I do noisy work during the permitted hours, let the neighbours know in advance, and leave the lift and entrance clean when I'm done.
