Sun, salt and sand wear out windows and shutters quickly on the coast. If your sliding terrace door is stiff, a roller shutter (persiana) is stuck or its strap has snapped, or the windows let in draughts and rain, I adjust them, replace the hardware and repair the mechanisms, so you don't have to replace the whole window. I repair windows across the Costa del Sol: in Málaga, Marbella, Estepona, Benahavís, Mijas, Fuengirola and Benalmádena.

Glazed terrace: a winter garden
This sea-view terrace sat empty all winter because of the wind. We installed frameless sliding glazing and adjusted the panels and seals. Now it can be used all year round.

Questions and answers
Can an old aluminium window be repaired?
Almost always. Rollers, handles, seals and locks can be replaced individually. If a repair isn't worth it, I'll tell you honestly and help you replace it.
My roller shutter is stuck halfway. Can I lift it myself?
Best not to force it – that's how slats and straps break. Send me a photo of the shutter box and strap and I'll tell you what you can do before I get there.
Can you fit motors to existing shutters?
Yes, the motor goes inside the roller tube of your existing shutter. It needs a socket or power supply nearby, and I can run that too.
